Fitness Assessment is done on every client in order to design the most effective training program for the specific fitness level and goals of the client. It includes a series of tests and measurements to determine the specific level of fitness. Measurements and tests used include body fat, blood pressure, cardiovascular endurance, muscular endurance, and flexibility. It also includes a health history form to be filled out by the client. Should there be indicators on the health history that make it unsafe to do specific tests, or should the client be uncomfortable with a specific test, it can be eliminated from the fitness assessment. For clients who sign up with a package of personal training sessions, fitness assessment is included free of charge. For clients who only want to do one session to have a program designed, there will be an additional charge for a fitness assessment to be done prior to the personal training session. Nutrition Consultation is done one-on-one to evaluate the overall nutritional needs of clients. Sessions can include reviewing nutritional intake or designing a nutritional plan. Nutritional monitoring is simply reviewing a nutritional journal to assist the client with sticking with a nutritional plan. |
